He takes out a pen and paper and starts to write his beloved wife a letter. Licking the pen with his tongue to wet the ink while pressing the paper down on the desk firmly, then accidently spills his coffee on the paper "Damn, well at least the scent on it will be to her liking, she sure love's her cup of Jo". He starts to think what he will write on the paper thinking about how much he loves her, he watches the clock tick as the hands move every day and on through the night like an addict waiting to get his next fix. His hands tremble just waiting to see her. He holds the pen still exhausted thinking of how much she did for him. Much more then any doctor, therapist, or even his trusty old friends. His hands tremble as he tries so hard to take the pen to paper to write what he needs to say, but after awhile he starts to lose his breath his face in his hands, shaking his head knowing all he ever wanted was for her to be safe, happy, and to have the dream by his side that a beloved should have. As his breath starts to cut, he feels his soul start to weep and cry since his love is so deep for her not only does his body ache, his heart races. His spirit trembles as he struggles so hard to write on the paper, even now he can barely hold the pen, thinking of her leaves him breathless, being without her turns his body into a frail used up drained dead and wilted plant.

His love always there and his promise never broken.
Her laughter, her smile, and her ability to make him feel alive again, to grow like a tall and old tree forbidden to cut down. His love for his wife is sacred because she is his Divinity. She touches him like a compassionate Goddess and he has been able to reach enlightenment from her love. Someone that has woken up. He tries to breath with the pen still in his hand shaking even more as he tries so hard to press the pen to the paper. Feeling so weak with this new found knowledge he might have never found if she did not hold the light in his darkness, help him down a path while holding his hand as they walked together. Never allowing any of his wounds to heal if she had not been there for him. He struggles even harder to scribble on the paper as he weakens since he is alone seeing the lights slowly dim without her close. Then as his hand starts to write on the paper he notices the ink drying while the letters of the words he needs to say to her are unable to flow from the ink.
Taking the pen scratching it back and forth on the paper so hard that it start's to rip. The paper becomes shredded to only a small piece being left to write on. His pen finally starts to flow with ink as his hand shakes. Knowing now how fucked he is since he can no longer write her line after line of words. Then as his pulse quickens he makes the choice to write to her three simple words knowing how much he loves her. He presses the pen to paper and the ink starts to flow, his eyes almost shut while he writes. Looking up at to the heavens thinking of their struggles, their passion he finally has the courage to tell her "I love you". He takes the small piece of paper scratched with his words placing it in her wallet hoping she will find it there, then presses his lips against the wallet, kissing it. He hopes she knows his love for her as he whispers in the air down on one knee, she is his everything, "I love you, I will always be in the eyes of the shadow, at your side".
Thank you =)
